Helen Marie Koel, Plainville, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Redbud Village in Plainville at the age of 99.

She was born in Norton County, Kansas to Edward and Lizzie (Bartel) Paugh on May 2, 1922. She was united in marriage to her first husband Edwin Kent on October 17, 1942. They were blessed with a son, Alvin Kent. Edwin passed away on July 3, 1945 and Helen was remarried on October 15, 1946 to Francis Koel in New Almelo, Kansas. Francis and Helen were blessed with five children: James, Joyce, David, Venetia, and Karla.

Daniel B. "Danny" Arpin, age 60, Bel Aire, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021.

He was born July 9, 1960 to Alcid and Mary Louise (Bellerive) Arpin. He was a 1978 graduate of Stockton High School. He was married to Kelly (Doughty) Arpin.

Danny worked as a mechanic at Donovan Cadillac and it was rumored there wasn’t a carburetor he couldn’t tune. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved his Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alcid and Mary Louise; brother, Frank; and sister, Liz.

Donald Lee Fisher, Plainville, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2021 at Hays Medical Center at the age of 84.

He was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on February 6, 1937 to Boyd and Amy (Bryan) Fisher. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann (Moeder) Fisher on June 11, 1960 in Hoisington, Kansas at the St. John’s Catholic Church. The couple was blessed with four daughters: Melanie, Mindy, Michelle, and Melissa.
