Max Alwyn Porter, 89 years of age, of Alma, Neb. passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Harlan County Health System in Alma.
Max was born on April 8, 1931, at home in Albion, Neb., the seventh of eight children, born to Don and Grace (Wilson) Porter. He attended Albion Public Schools and graduated from Albion High School with the class of 1949.

Duane McCall, age 85, of McPherson, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at McPherson Hospital.
He was born in Woodston, Kansas on November 1, 1935, the son of Hattie Rose (Covey) and Leland William McCall.
Duane attended the Woodston grade school, and graduated from Woodston High School, Woodston, Kansas. He then attended an electronics trade school in Topeka, Kansas for a year.
He was a member of Harmony Christian Church McPherson, where he was Baptized.
