Janet Jean (Barnett) Koster was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Edward J. and Pearl Gay (Elliott) Barnett on April 18, 1934. She died on November 10, 2022, at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas, at the age of 88.

When she was four years old, her family moved to Concordia, Kansas, and lived several places as her dad worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. She attended schools in Concordia, Lenora, Stockton, Downs, and Cawker City, and graduated from Cawker City High School in 1952. Following graduation, she worked at the Barnett Company as a bookkeeper.

Joseph Andrew “Joe” Strutt passed away peacefully at his home in Hays with family at his side on November 30, 2022, at the age of 86.

He was born on December 19, 1935, to Theodore and Sarah (Cadoret) Strutt in Osborne County, Kansas. He married Ada Barry on May 20, 1959, in Stockton, Kansas. They were blessed with two children: Dale and Donna.

Quintin Hue “Q” Silsby, of Plainville, passed away on November 30, 2022, at his home in Plainville, at the age 26.

He was born on February 21, 1996, to Robert “Bob” and Lisa (Nobert) Silsby in Beloit, Kansas. He was married to Samantha “Sam” VonHeeder on March 20, 2021, in Ainsworth, Neb.
