RCH launches new, affordable patient payment program
Rooks County Health Center (RCH) is proud to announce the launch of PayZen, an innovative new payment program designed to make health care more affordable and accessible for patients.
PayZen offers no-interest, no-fee payment plans that help patients manage their medical expenses without the stress of traditional billing or credit hurdles.
PayZen is not a collection agency. Instead, it is a financial partner that pays the hospital in full and then works directly with the patient to create a manageable, interest free repayment plan.
There is no application process, no minimum credit score, and no impact on a patient's credit rating, making it easy for patients to take advantage of the program as soon as they receive eligible services.
In addition, every patient qualifies. Patients can also sign up for the PayZen Care Card before or at the time of service.
The card allows patients to cover their out-ofpocket deductibles or co-insurance costs up front and pay the balance over time, with zero interest or fees.
'Health care costs can place tremendous strain on patients and families, especially when unexpected medical needs arise,' said Sheila Hachmeister, RCH CFO.
'By offering PayZen, we're giving our patients a better, more compassionate way to receive the care they need and pay for it in a way that truly fits their budget.'
With PayZen, patients can break larger medical bills into bite-sized monthly payments without ever paying more than the original cost of their care. This approach helps patients stay on track medically and financially, ensuring that they don't delay or avoid care due to cost concerns.
RCH chose PayZen because it benefits both the patient and the hospital.
By allowing PayZen to pay eligible bills upfront, the hospital strengthens its financial stability. It reduces administrative costs and staff workload while patients gain a transparent, flexible, and stress-free payment option. The result is a stronger, more sustainable system that supports high-quality care for the entire community.
'Ensuring the financial well-being of our patients is part of delivering excellent health care,' Hachmeister stated.
'PayZen aligns perfectly with our mission by providing a fair, dignified solution that helps people focus on healing rather than worrying about bills.'
Rooks County Health Center remains committed to delivering exceptional care close to home, and the adoption of PayZen is another step toward supporting the community's long-term health.
