It would be nice to have your church, your organization, or even your family be of one mind and have no discord, but we just don’t see it that often. This is especially true as the group grows in size.

Busy Friday for local Fire Department
At approximately 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24th, the Stockton Fire Department was called out to the Mongeau Farms, FLP west of town when a hay bale caught fire. The firemen worked the scene for the next eight and a half hours, losing 50 bales of hay.

Card of ThanksI want to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness I received while I was in the hospital and since returning home. The flowers, cards, calls, prayers, messages, and other nice gestures have meant so much to me and have certainly helped me on my recovery journey.
Four from Rooks County are FHSU fall 2024 graduates
Fort Hays State University recognized four graduates from Rooks County out of the approimately 1,014 graduates during its fall commencement ceremonies held on Friday and Saturday, December 13th and 14th.
