Uncertainty. Chaos. Turmoil. Isolation. These are just a few of the words that come to mind when describing our environment today. Who could have envisioned even a year ago churches having to move to online services for example?

The reorganization of the Stockton City Commission was held at the first meeting of the new year on Tuesday, January 5th. Before the reorganization, the commissioners approved the Consent Agenda as presented, which included the Solomon Valley Manor gross payroll in the amount of $79,965.

Kansas’ December total tax collections continues the state’s trend of outperforming the estimate. Total tax collections were up $64.5 million, or 9.1%, for the month with $770.2 million collected. That is a $13.6 million, or 1.8%, increase from December of Fiscal Year 2020.

WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS. I suppose we're all affected. Or should we say "infected"? We have this niggling proclivity to be right. "I'm right. You're wrong." Of course, those who have an unusually major infection of this "disease" tend to be rather contentious in their relationships.

Where is your focus? Sometimes we have trouble seeing because our focus is on ourselves. If we only see ourselves, and if it is all about “me”, we will surely miss opportunities to help others and will end up stressed and broken.
