Herbert and Olive McReynolds of Hays will be celebrating an impressive milestone—their 70th Wedding Anniversary—with a Come-And-Go Open House on Saturday, October 17th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Fellowship Hall of Osborne United Methodist Church, at 105 North 3rd Street in Osborne.

Woodston United Methodist Church did not have church on Sunday due to a member with COVID and several under quarantine due to contact. Our area has had some frosty mornings.

The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met Monday, Sept 28, 2020, at 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Stockton. Ruth Ann opened with the Flag Salute. Roll Call was, "Something you are thankful for?" It was answered by six members. Gail read the minutes from the last meeting and treasurer’s report and it was approved as read. The Sherwood Forest Greenery sales material should be in any time and we will start selling wreaths again. There was no New Business so we spent the remainder of the time writing cards to encourage the residents at Plainville and Logan nursing homes. Next month, we will be writing cards to the Solomon Valley Manor residents. We ate gingerbread cake with Cool Whip while writing cards. Pam J. won the door prize and the meeting was adjourned. Our next meeting is Oct. 26, 2020.
