The Rooks County Commission met on Tuesday, October 27th for its regular weekly meeting with commissioners John Ruder, Corky Hagan and Greg Balthazor in attendance. The commissioners first gave their weekly reports, with Hagan stating it had been a quiet week.

The State of Kansas continues to see revenue growth over the same month of the last fiscal year. October's total tax receipts were $596.6 million, an 11.7% or $62.6 million increase over the estimate. That is 7.9%, or $43.6 million, more than October of Fiscal Year 2020.

DSNWK is proud to announce that they were awarded a grant on behalf of the Kansas Children's Cabinet and Trust Fund in the amount of $11,553.00 that was approved through the CARES Act Technology for Families fund for support of families in DSNWK Kid-Link's Tiny-k program.
