The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met Monday, July 25, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Stockton at 7 p.m. Susan G. opened the meeting with the flag salute. Kim read the FCE motto. Roll call was, "What entries are you taking to the fair?” We had five members answering roll call.

KATHY, JALIA AND JAYANA CREIGHTON participated at the Osborne County Fair Dog Show July 25th. Kathy showed KC in Rally and received a Blue ribbon, received a Blue ribbon in Showmanship, and in Obedience with a perfect score, she received a Grand Champion.

THE STOCKTON FFA ENTOMOLOGY TEAM placed third at State recently. This year’s team included: from left: Rachel Dryden, Jalia Creighton (7th Individual), Jolee Sterling, and Jaxon Dunlap..

RIVER VALLEY CHURCH IN STOCKTON recently installed a new marquee on the front of their church. The marquee has the new name of the church at the top, and has an area where church times and upcoming events will be displayed.

As part of Dollar General’s DG Kindness campaign, the Company is honoring the store team at 205 Northwest 3rd Street in Plainville, Kansas for their commitment to serving others through a $1,000 donation to Lakeview Christian Camp, just south of Webster Reservoir west of Stockton.

THE WONDERFUL BLESSING OF A CLOUD COVER turned a warm Saturday into a very nice evening to visit with friends at the RoCo Arts Council’s ice cream sundae fundraiser for the mural project.
