Body G.W. Watkins of the Plainville country was in Stockton last Friday accompanied by his son, Oren Watkins, bringing him here for medical treatment. Oren had been working for the Graves Bridge Construction Company, A few days ago he with other workmen were driving piling.

Body Mrs. Henry C. Fleak, the wife of editor Fleak of the Plainville Times, passed away at her sister’s home in Iola, Kansas. Mrs. Fleak had been in poor health for several months. For a time, she was in the Hays Hospital, where she made some improvement.

Body A chicken house on the Fred Wickland place east of town burned last Friday night. The loss was not so great to Fred as was the fact that nearly 100 little chickens perished in the fire.
