This is quite an honor, and the community should be proud to have a funeral director in their midst who can hold such an office.

The Margray Oil Corporation Bemis No. 1-B has not had a production test because trouble has been encountered while pulling the big pipe. Hydraulic jacks have been placed, and work to pull the pipe is underway. This well came in two weeks ago; oil filled the six-inch pipe, and when the five-inch was run, considerable oil slipped over. The producing horizon is the silicious lime and will probably make the best producer in this area. The Stanolind Pipe Line Company is building a line to handle production.
