SHS to present school play this Friday and Saturday

Stockton High School will present the two-act play, “Bad Auditions by Bad Actors,” by Ian McWethy this Friday, November 12th at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, November 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the SHS Auditorium. The play centers around rookie director, Carol, who has one day to find and cast the lead roles in a community theatre production for “Romeo and Juliet”. However, as easy as this may seem for Carol and her assistant, they soon realize it may be much more challenging than they imagined. Admission is a free-will donation.

The KAYS will provide a free-will donation soup supper before Friday’s performance at 6:00 p.m. with soup available on Saturday while supplies last. Concessions will be available during the fifteen-minute intermission each evening.

Cast members are Kayleigh Cunningham, Jace Hartman, Zach Young, Delany Snyder, Jalia Creighton, Noah Griffin, Savy Gray, Katie Post, Ethan Day, Cheyenne Carlson, Michel Smith and Brin Muir. McKenzie Kester, Jake Benavides and Kymberly LeiVan make up the stage crew with Addie Struckhoff and Colton Williams working the sound. Rebecca Gray is the director and Rachel Snyder is the assistant director.
