Memorial Day services planned

The Monroe-Taylor-Barnes V.F.W. Post 8873 in Stockton encourages all veterans (members and non-members) and Auxiliary members to fall out on Memorial Day, May 29th. Veterans, if you cannot wear your uniform, please fall out in black slacks, white shirt, black tie, and service or V.F.W. cap. Veterans are to meet at the Post Home at 8:30 a.m. for services.

Services will be at the St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery at 9:30 a.m., the Stockton City Cemetery at 10:00 a.m., and Mt. Vernon Cemetery at 10:45 a.m.

Following the services, there will be a potluck dinner at the Stockton V.F.W. Post. Meat, drinks, and table service will be provided.
