Filing deadline is Thursday, June 1st

Are you interested in running for a position on the City Commission or School Board?

Open seats for the upcoming election include: Stockton City Commission, two positions; Stockton USD 271, four; Plainville USD 270, four; and Damar/Palco USD 269 four positions.

The deadline to file is Thursday, June 1st.

The filing fee is $20.00.

To file or get filing papers, please do so at the Rooks County Clerk’s Office on the courthouse’s second floor or call 785-4256391 for more information.

Jesica Kerr and Adam Bryant are currently serving on the two open positions on the Stockton City Commission. Stephanie Niblock, LeAnn Dix, Daphne Plumer, and Thelma Berland are now serving on the four seats that will be open for this upcoming election.
