This Friday & Saturday, May 1st & 2nd
Buckle up for a weekend packed with thrills—Red Line Cruisers Car Club is revving up for its milestone 10th Annual Cruise Night and Car Show, and you won’t want to miss a moment!
Mark your calendars: Cruise Night launches the festivities on Friday, May 1, with the dazzling Car Show taking over Saturday, May 2. Friday’s Cruise sparks into action at 6:00 p.m., promising a night of roaring engines, sparkling chrome, and community fun for all ages—wrapping up at 9:00 p.m. Of course, let’s keep the adrenaline safe: No Burn-Outs or Excessive Speed—so everyone can enjoy the ride!
Test your luck in the Poker Run, starting at the Old Skelly Gas Station (just a block west of the Music Trailer) from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., with winners crowned at the Music Trailer soon after. While you cruise, keep your energy up with free, fresh popcorn from Leo’s Liquor—fuel for both engines and taste buds!
Downtown Plainville will buzz with the irresistible aromas of local food vendors. Bring your appetite and dive into a feast featuring Bob’s BBQ, Waggs Taco Shop, MKC Kitchen, Hitched (Drink Wagon), Sno Shack, Frosty’s Kettle Corn, Mia’s Cotton Candy Cart, plus the sweet celebration of Pink Peony Bake Shoppe’s Grand Opening!
Local restaurants are ready to welcome guests, and the Plainville Methodist Ladies will treat early risers to breakfast sandwiches and drinks from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. All your favorite vendors will be back throughout Saturday, serving up delicious meals and treats.
Bring a lawn chair, rally your friends and family, and soak in the festival vibe as you sample tasty treats and enjoy the sights and sounds all around.
This event is a thrilling journey down memory lane, where the rumble of classic engines meets the electrifying pulse of Classic Rock and Roll—filling the air with nostalgia and excitement all weekend long.
Car Show registration shifts into gear Saturday morning from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the National Anthem launching the show at 11:00 a.m. Wander among gleaming vehicles from across the decades and treat yourself to the best eats in town.
This year’s event proudly supports the Kansas Honor Flight, sending our local heroes on a journey they’ll never forget. Join us on Mill and Main at 2:30 p.m. Saturday for our special check presentation— right before we reveal the car show winners. We’re especially honored to have two Rooks County veterans participating in this life-changing experience.
Don’t forget to visit the Sponsor Board just east of the music trailer, and swing by the Red Line Cruisers Car Club Facebook page to see all the generous sponsors who make this celebration possible. The Red Line Cruisers send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helps make Cruise Night and the Car Show such a roaring success!
