THIS AND THAT

* If I asked you to name all of the things you love, how long would it take to name yourself?

* This is just my opinion, but I really don’t think we need chains or jewelry for our COVID-masks.

* My summer body is never ready, but my winter body is always good to go.

* Yes, I am called Grams, short for Grams Bear. And isn’t that such a sweet way to describe the fact that I will definitely tear you from limb to limb if anyone ever hurts my grandkids?!

* Who remembers where you could see this? “Please be kind, rewind!”

* Siegfried Fischbacher, the other half of the world-famous Siegfried & Roy, passed away at the age of 81. I loved to watch all their TV specials and marveled at how they could magically make an elephant, jaguar or white tiger disappear. It was always on my bucket list to see them in person in Las Vegas.

* How I do my laundry…..Wash my clothes, which takes about 30 minutes; dry my clothes, which takes about an hour; and then a good week or more to put my clothes away. Most of the time the clothes just stay in my laundry room.

* Praying for our country.

* In a recent editorial of mine, I had written about Bill Gouldman, but I had mistakenly had his first name as Bob. I know better than that, so my excuses are as to why I had the wrong name….I must have been talking to Bob Hamilton when I was typing my editorial, or I just decided to type in the wrong name to see if anyone would notice!

* May you always follow the song in your soul.

* As the movie studios work through this pandemic, the Nova Theatre will be showing new releases mixed in with older movies. The Nova Board is working hard to keep the facility open and asks for the public’s patience until Hollywood works out all of the details.

* Isn’t this the truth? One minute you’re young and fun. And the next, you’re turning down the stereo in your car to see better!
