Howell is MCEL Champion

Body STOCKTON JUNIOR HIGH WRESTLER, HUNTER HOWELL, a 7th grader, brought home the Championship at the MCEL Wrestling Tournament held Thursday, February 20th, at Ellis. Howell not only won first place, but how he did it was even more impressive.

Knoll and Basart are headed to State

Body Justin Knoll and Rylan Basart are headed to the KSHSAA Class 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays, after finishing fourth at the regional tournament held last week in Norton.

Regular basketball season ends for SHS Tiger teams

Body With the regular season coming to an end last Friday for the Stockton Tigers, their sights are now set on Regionals which began this Tuesday and run through Saturday. Both Tiger basketball teams traveled to Downs-Lakeside this Tuesday to take on the Knights.

Ericka Johnston winning medals in gymnastics

Body Ten-year-old Ericka Johnston is very talented in her gymnastics and has the medals to show for it. On two separate weekend meets in Kansas City, Ericka achieved 3rd place from one and 1st and 2nd place medals at the second.

Tiger boys hold on for win over Trego Eagles

Body The Stockton Tigers jumped out to an early lead against the visiting Trego Eagles, but had to hold on down the stretch to pull out the 44-40 win in Mid-Continent League boys action last Tuesday at Tiger Gymnasium.

Body Jonathan Graham went 4-0 against opponents from Plainville, Russell, Hill City and Great Bend to win the Plainville Open Tournament at 10 & Under 79 pounds. Jonathan won by three falls and one decision to place first.
COHEN MUIR placed 2nd at the Plainville Open/Novice Wrestling Tournament held Saturday, February 8th, at Plainville. Cohen competed in the 6 & Under Novice 37-40-lb. weight class.
