IN THE FALL OF 1994 Brad Turnbull was kept busy chipping loose concrete from the joints of the south retaining wall that surrounds the Rooks County Courthouse. Turnbull worked for a Nebraska company that had a contract to restore the wall to its original condition.

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STOCKTON PTA had presented grade school principal Francis Mahoney and librarian Pat Nichols with the books furnished by School Book Fairs, in cooperation with the PTA, in the fall of 1994.

MEMBERS OF THE 1994 Solomon Valley Antique Engine & Machinery Association of Stockton had been hard at work getting things ready for the annual antique show, which was always held at the end of September. One of the projects was working on a 65hp Case Steam Engine.
