Being chosen by a Longhorn defender, Tiger senior Leighton rolls out to his left looking to make a play in football action last Friday. The Stockton Tigers took the field in Kensington for their season opener against Thunder Ridge. Stockton lost the hard-fought battle in double overtime, 20-14.

HEADING TO STOCKTON HIGH SCHOOL on the first day back after a very long summer break are Max Moffett, Jolee Sterling and Breckyn Williams. The only thing anyone knows for sure is that this school year is going to be different.

MAKING HER WAY INTO SCHOOL last Thursday was grade school student Amberleigh Jurgens. It was evident the children were excited to be back in the classroom with their fellow classmates and teachers. Here’s wishing them a great year!

McKenna Horn and her brother Daxton took advantage of the nice weather earlier this summer by going for a walk in their neighborhood. They are the children of Ethen and Maddy Horn of Stockton..
