First Christian Church of Plainville

Body
How big is your God? If you were asked that question just out of the blue you may very well say something like, “I serve a very big God. He can do anything.” The question then would be, how is that big God impacting your life? How is that big God impacting your community?

Stockton Fire Department answers two calls on Saturday

Body
The Stockton Fire Department answered two fire calls on Saturday afternoon, April 4th. One was a call for mutual aid by Damar to help with an outof-control control burn by that city’s lagoons. The other afternoon call was at 1880 B Road on the Leon-ard Dix property. It was an unreported control burn dealing with the burning of tree stumps and logs that the volunteers helped put out.

Kindness in Crisis

Body
Simple acts of kindness and inspiration are coming from people who are reaching out to one another by acting in creative ways to uplift the spirits of those around them in their own special style through laughter, singing, sewing, etc. during the COVID-19 pandemic. With local news being scarce at this time with the closing of the schools, some businesses and community events, the Sentinel will be focusing on how resilient the human spirit is by showcasing Stockton’s “Kindness in Crisis” series while we get through this pandemic together…
THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE of the many uplifting messages people are getting on their take-out bags from 183 Lanes and Café in Stockton. Little acts of kindness are helping people through this pandemic in a big way!
