STOCKTON HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING king candidates, Jace Hull, Markeis Spiller and Troy Rogers, gathered on the track prior to the ceremony held on Friday at Tiger Stadium. Rogers was crowned Homecoming king for 2020.

CROWNBEARERS FOR THE 2020 HOMECOMING festivities were cuties, Kaisyn Muir (top) and Cohen Muir (bottom). Despite dealing with a sore foot, Kaisyn, and her partner Cohen, performed their duties to perfection.

THE ROOKS COUNTY NEW YEAR’S BABY QUILT for 2020 was finally presented to the precious baby, Ezra Michael Kriley, born in February to Dustin and Dayna Kriley of Stockton. The cute quilt was made by Crossroads Quilt Guild members, Betty Bedore and Elaine Hrabe.

THE QUEEN CANDIDATES for Stockton’s 2020 Homecoming on Friday night were Logan Winklepleck, Harley Kester and Chloe Plumer. The queen’s crown went to Plumer. Again, due to COVID, this picture was Photoshopped to include Plumer.

THE NEW POUR-IN-PLACE SURFACING under the Stockton City Park’s playground equipment was laid on Thursday, September 24th by a subcontractor of Sterling West of Nebraska.

TROY ROGERS AND CHLOE PLUMER were crowned king and queen in an unusual, but special, Homecoming ceremony held last Friday at Tiger Stadium. With the volleyball team, of which Chloe is a member, in “quarantine,” the proper COVID protocols were followed with the candidates keeping their 15’ distance.
