JIM CIRCLE left, was presented with this quilt made by Judy Russ (next to Jim) during the Quilt of Valor ceremony given on Veterans Day at the Nova Theare by the VFW Auxiliary to Post 8873. Also pictured helping hold the quilt is Lavania Haines, right.

FLOYD THOMPSON, right, was one of the veterans who received a special quilt during the Quilt of Valor ceremony given by the Ladies VFW Auxiliary to Post 8873. Judy Russ, pictured next to Floyd, made this beautiful quilt. Also pictured are auxiliary members, from far left, Deb Eggers and Deb Niermeier.

GETTING READY FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON TO ARRIVE IN STOCKTON are members of the Stockton Chamber of Commerce. They took advantage of a beautiful fall day on Thursday, November 19th to decorate the Martha Rogers Mayor’s Tree at Printer’s Park. THE WEATHER was just perfect on Monday, November 16th for the Stockton City employees to hang Christmas lights on the front of City Hall in anticipation of the holiday season..
