WILLIAM JOSEPH “BILL” BUYAK
1939 - 2021
William Joseph “Bill” Buyak passed away on October 30, 2021, at his home in Chase, Kansas at the age of 81.
He was born to George and Helen (Antoszewski) Buyak on December 1, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan. Bill was the father to three children: Raymond, Sara, and Michael. Bill grew up in Mich
Bill grew up in Michigan and attended high school there. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served as a Para Trooper in the 101st Airborne. He earned several honors such as Good Conduct, Parachute Badge, and Rifleman Badge. When he was honorably dis charged, he moved to Kansas and worked for the oil field as a driller and tool pusher for 30 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his children: Raymond Buyak and Sara Buyak and husband Daniel; and sister, Evelyn Roy all of Kansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Buyak; step-mother, Mary Buyak; a son, Michael Buyak; and brother, Arthur Buyak.
A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Stockton Cemetery.
