Todd J. Van Schuyver

Todd J. Van Schuyver passed away on August 25, 2024, at his home in Plainville, at the age of 46.

He was born to Anna Gravatt in Salina on January 12, 1978. He was adopted by David and Mary (Staab) Van Schuyver.

Todd grew up in Plainville and graduated from Plainville High School in 1997. He was currently working at Wilkens Manufacturing and had previously worked at Schulte Homes and Classic Cloth. He played Special Olympics Basketball with the Solomon Valley Larks and Hays Buffaloes. He was a member of Plainville Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing, living independently, helping his parents, and hanging out with his nephews Kaiden and Chayse, brother Ryan, and many friends.

He leaves behind his parents, David and Mary; brother Ryan (Gina) Van Schuyver; sister Carrie Van Schuyver (Mike); nephews Kaiden Van Schuyver, Chayse McCullough, and Emily; and niece Ayvre Van Schuyver.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Scott David and Brent Michael.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainville. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., with a Vigil and Rosary service at 7 p.m. at the church.
