Refinna Ladean “Betty” Keyes

Refinna Ladean “Betty” Keyes, of Plainville, passed away on January 1, 2023, at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 75.

She was born on February 27, 1947, to Levi Bassel and Mary Alice (Reynolds) Hoskins in Enid, Okla. She was married to Stanley Keyes in 1967. They were blessed with five children: James, Jerry, Brenda, Teresa, and Teri.

Betty enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, and loved reading novels and playing Bingo. She didn’t know a stranger and could sit and talk with anyone.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Keyes of Plainville, Brenda Henson of Gothenberg, Neb., and Teri Ellenberger of Plainville; brother, Alfred Hoskins of Enid, Okla.; sister, Sylvia Ramage of Enid, Okla.; four grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Mary Alice Hoskins; son, James Henson; and daughter, Teresa Keyes.

There will be no services.
