Rebecca “Becky” Elaine Eaton, 64, of Plainville, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Redbud Village in Plainville.

She was born on February 9, 1959, in Fairfax, Mo., the daughter of Oscar and Betty (Faseler) Huff. She was united in marriage to Thomas Andrew Eaton on July 10, 1977, in Basehor, Kansas.

Becky spoke her mind quite often, was known as the Honey Bun lady, and never missed a game of Bingo. She enjoyed doing crafts, BBQs, and especially spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by seven children, Mary Ann Graf of Alton, Heidi Everett of Norton, Shawn Dunning and his wife Ginny of Stockton, Randi Jo Dunning of Manhattan, twins, Shelby and Shane Dunning of Stockton, and Chelsea St, Clair of Stockton; twenty-six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Tom Huff; four sisters, Beverly Eaton, Cheri Huff, Mary Ellen Ogelsby, Janet Reed and her husband Albert; sister-in-law, Shirley Dick; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Eaton; special companion, she spent many years with, Douglas Dunning; her grandson, Jade Franklin Graf; two sisters, Virginia Cozzadd and Patricia Gates; an infant brother, David; three brothers-in-law, Jerry Eaton, Frank Eaton, David Eaton; in-laws, Frank and Mary “Minnie” Eaton; and brothers-in-law, Edward Fry, Joe Gates, and Pleaz Oglesby.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery southeast of Macon. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

The family suggests memorials to the family for expenses or the Redbud Village Activities Department.
