Nancy Ann (Pantlik) Davis of Plainville earned her angel wings at the age of 87 on December 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 3, 1935, in Prague, Okla., to Charlie and Murrel (Roller) Pantlik. On December 9, 1954, Nancy married the love of her life, Russell Davis, in Blackwell, Okla. Nancy and Russell welcomed 2 daughters to their family, Wendy Hageman and Cindy Hake. The family moved from Oklahoma to Kansas to Texas, and finally to Plainville in 1966 where Nancy and Russell lived the rest of their lives. She was a loving wife and mother and spent many happy hours with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy was an Avon lady for several years, bringing fun items and smiles to her customers and friends. She worked as a para and the “lunchroom lady” at the Plainville Grade School for many years. In her retirement years, Nancy worked at the funeral home, sharing her heart with friends and family during their times of sadness. She also served on the Library Board.

Nancy is survived by her daughters: Wendy and Don Hageman, McCook, Neb., and Cindy Hake, Colby; grandchildren: Brian and JoAnn Hageman, Omaha, Neb., Brady and Tabitha Hageman, Yukon, Okla., Brad and Lisa Hageman, Akron, Colo., Julie and David Baalmann, Louisburg, and Jennifer and Rick Sabath, Olathe; great-grandchildren: Kylie, Carson & Connor Baalmann, Brett, Drew, Abby and Chloe Sabath, Ben and Elizabeth Hageman and Maggie Hageman; brothers and sisters-in-law Mary Stewart, Marge Davis, Oren Davis and Larry Davis; and many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; son-in-law Mike Hake; parents Charlie and Murrel Pantlik; parents-in-law Earl and Fern Davis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Juanita Clements, Virginia and Ralph Porter, Dale and Billie Davis, Robert Davis, Milton Stewart and Barbara Stafford; and her special friend of many years, Norman Becker.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Plainville United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Plainville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends at the funeral home.
