Jane Katherine Maddy

Jane Katherine Maddy, age 71, of Altus, Okla., passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023.

She was born November 20, 1951, in Colby, to Jay and Margene (Gradig) Griffin. Jane married Kerry Maddy on January 2, 1971, and to this union, three children were born. Jane loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jim Griffin.

 She is survived by her husband Kerry; daughters Lori (Lance) Brown and Jennifer (Michael) Arter; son, Sean (Erica) Maddy; grandchildren Brayden Arter, Adam Arter, Abigail Brown, Rylan Henderson, Kerry-Paul Brown, Arynn Maddy and Avyn Brown-Branch; and siblings, Janette Clapp, Janice (Leo) Bjurstrom, Jerri Griffin, JoAnn (Mark) Linnell, Janell Griffin, and Jeff (Jennifer) Griffin.

 Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023, also at the mortuary. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Colby.
