Dale Arpin

Dale Arpin was born in Hays on April 15, 1952, to Alfred and Marcella Arpin. Dale passed in the comfort of his home on December 13, 2022, with his loving family and friends by his side.

He grew up in a small Kansas town harvesting wheat with his dad. Dale attended Colby College and took classes at the School of Mines. After college, he worked for a painting and drywalling company. In the late '70s, Dale moved to Colorado and worked for Adams County as a Traffic Engineer for 32 years.

Dale met his wife Candy at work as they shared the same office building. They were married on March 20, 1982, and last year celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Dale is survived by his wife Candy; daughter Sunshine; and grandchildren Savannah, Pablo, Cody and Cheyenne; mother-in-law Martina 'Tanner' Gallegos; siblings Judy Bieker and Renee and Tony Marcotte; and an overwhelming number of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
