Brenda Sue Miller, of Stockton, passed away on May 30, 2024, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville at the age of 64.

She was born on December 26, 1959, to Laurin R. and Elaine D. (Kuhn) Herl in Plainville. She married Harley Miller on October 10, 1981, in Plainville. They were blessed with three sons: Andrew, Austin, and Colby.

Brenda graduated from Plainville High School in 1977. She stayed home to raise her children and then worked at Exide Battery, Classic Cable, Short Stop, and Rempe Plumbing. She loved to crochet and knit and crocheted many hats for the cancer center in Hays. She also loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Harley Miller of the home in Stockton; sons, Austin Miller of Russell and Colby Miller of Stockton; siblings, Stan (Deisy) Herl of Edmond, Okla., Pam Arrambidez of Roanoke, Texas, Marla (John) Plante of Plainville, and Dale “Barney” (Ronda) Herl of Grapevine, Texas; and two grandchildren, Lana and Sydney.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Andrew Miller.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Rooks County Health Center or Rooks County Cancer Council and may be sent to Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N. 1st, Stockton, KS 67669.
