Betty Ann Hunter, formerly of Plainville, passed away on February 18, 2022, at the Sheridan County Health Complex in Hoxie at the age of 77.

She was born on January 10, 1945, in Graham County, to Frank Hunter and Ruby Haas. She had four children: Gerald, Ronda, Tonia, and Shonda.

Betty enjoyed bingo, puzzle books, and noodle ball at the long term care center.

She is survived by her son Gerald Reaves of Plainville; daughters, Ronda (Danny) Bacon of Hoxie and Tonia (Preston) Werner of Plainville; sisters, Velma Williams and Mary Ester Rutherford; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Hunter and Ruby Haas; daughter, Shonda Hunter; brothers, Everett Lee Hunter, Vernon Eugene Hunter, and Dwayne Hunter; sisters, Frankie Mae Rutherford, Rosalee Patterson, Maxine Scott, and Laverne Gibbs.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Nazarene Church in Plainville. Visitation will be on the same day from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses and may be sent to the funeral home at 320 SW 2nd, Plainville, KS 67663.
