Augustine “Francis” VonFeldt passed away on October 10, 2022, in the Anthology of Olathe Assisted Living in Olathe, Kansas at the age of 90.

He was born on November 13, 1931, to August and Celestine (Kinderknecht) VonFeldt in Gorham, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Shirley A. (Robben) Vonfeldt on August 22, 1951, in Gorham. The couple was blessed with four children: Roger, Karen, Keith, and Alan.

RCH Board President Jeff VanDyke started out the regular board meeting on Sept. 23, 2008 in the new facility by welcoming everyone to the new facility and reminisced about a day five years prior when the Board was sitting at the old hospital and wondering what it would be like to sit in a brand new facility.  

The Stockton Tigers’ two-game win streak came to an abrupt end on Friday when the Tigers were blanked by a talented Victoria squad, 50-0. The contest was called at the end of the first half due to the mercy rule.
