The annual Parade of Christmas Trees at the Stockton Public Library will be on display for viewing on Friday, November 25th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with Olde Tyme Christmas and Stockton’s 150th anniversary. The public is invited to view the trees that day or any weekday when the Library is open during business hours throughout the month of December. Happy Thanksgiving!

Six of our hometown heroes, Robert Hamilton, Gerald Wehrli, Randall Peacock, Scott Baker, Jay Murphy and Roland Johnston, were honored at the “Salute To Our Veterans” program held at Stockton High School on Friday, November 11th. The six recipients received Quilts of Valor with VFW President Deb Niermeier giving a short account of each veteran’s service to our country. Those who attended the program listened to the stories about each of their tours of duty and sacrifices for our country.

The Stockton Fire Department was dispatched at 3:44 p.m. Sunday afternoon for a report of smoke in a pasture just west of J Road and 9 Road.
