Lois Ann (Claycamp) Blass, age 89, passed away at her home on March 7, 2023.

She was born the eldest of six children to Emil and Inez (Diers) Claycamp on January 16, 1934, in Hunter, Kansas.

On November 18, 1950, she was united in marriage with Jim Blass. Seven children were born into this union, Terry, Pat, Mike, Brenda, Barb, Joe, and George.

Lois always worked outside the home, as well as being a dedicated wife and mother. Lois was a friend to everyone. She was very patient with lots of good advice.

Former Stockton resident Lester E. Look, of Hays, passed away on March 7, 2023, in Sabetha, at the age of 92.

He was born on October 6, 1930, to Bryan and Mary Ethel (Bridwell) Look in Stockton. He married Avis Schindler on May 17, 1952, in Belleville. They were blessed with two daughters: Patricia and Diane.

Brenda (Stagner) Markley, age 79, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023.

She was born July 28, 1943, to Dale and Daisy (Wise) Stagner in Hays.

Brenda was a woman of strong faith and had a close relationship with her church family. She graduated in 1961 from Plainville High School and went on to cosmetology school in Wichita.

She married Don Markley in 1962 and they later divorced. They had one daughter in 1967. Dana was her mom’s pride and joy!
