Connie Rae (Nudson) Carlson, of Gaylord, passed away on January 31, 2024, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center, at the age of 79.

She was born on April 4, 1944, to Virgil Y. and Mildred M. (Noland) Nudson in Manhattan. She married Keith L. Carlson on February 14, 1965, in Sedalia. They were blessed with two sons: Cory and Coley.

Cheryle Ann Menzies, age 75, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the Kansas City Hospice House.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Southview Christian Church, 13604 Norby Rd., Grandview, Missouri 64030.

Leona Delphine Haase, 104, passed away on January 28, 2024, at Medicalodges of Great Bend, Kansas.

She was born on November 25, 1919, in Zurich, Kansas, the daughter of Jeremiah and Rosalie (Ducharme) Forgue. She graduated from Palco High School in 1936. In her younger years, she was given the nickname “Finn,” which remained with her throughout life, as nieces and nephews lovingly referred to her as “Aunt Finn."
