COFFEY COUNTY – On Wednesday night, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) arrested a Kansas wrestling coach and teacher for sex crimes.

Shirley F. Finnesy, of Plainville, passed away on February 5, 2024, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville.

She was born on March 4, 1935, to Herman B. and Clarron A. (Clements) Mason in Hays. She married Richard Duane Finnesy on July 31, 1953, in Plainville. They were blessed with two children: Tom and Dee.
