Anthony Domenico Kruse, Wichita, passed away on December 6, 2022 at the age of 48.

He was born in Plainville, Kansas on February 27, 1974. He graduated from Plainville High School as Co-Valedictorian in 1992. He attended K-State University and graduated in 1996 with honors with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree. He started working for Grant Thornton in 1997 as an accountant, then later earned his CPA in 2004.

In 2005, he married Monica Sander and then welcomed their first son Nathan in 2006. They had their second son, Braden in 2010. In 2010, he worked for BKD LLP. In 2012, with his hard work and dedication, he became Partner with BKD LLP, now known as FORVIS. They had their only daughter, Madelyn, in 2013.

Tony was a strong family man, loving and dedicated husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it was hanging out at the pool, going to sporting events, going on vacation, or simply staying at home. He also enjoyed watching K-State football, coaching his boys in baseball and basketball while also being an avid spectator, and watching his daughter dance. He was a member of the Church of the Magdalen, and actively involved with the American Heart Association and the Heart Ball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Domenico “Mimi” and Vera Kruse; and sister, Patricia “Patty” Kruse.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Kruse; his sons, Nathan Domenico and Braden Michael Kruse; and his daughter, Madelyn Ann Kruse; sister, Mary Rhodes; and brother-in-law Dennis Rhodes; and brother, Michael Kruse.

The Rosary was held Tuesday, December 13, and the Funeral Mass was Wednesday, December 14, 2022, both at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church. Burial was in Ascension Cemetery, at Bel Aire.
