Dale Eugene Hiser

Dale Eugene Hiser, age 75, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in a Chattanooga hospital.

Dale was born July 11, 1947, in Hays, Kansas, the son of the late Bessie Smith Hiser and Grady Hiser.

His sisters, Bonnie Bain, Freda Lambert and his brothers, Marvin Hiser and Roy Hiser also preceded him in death.

For 51 years, he served in management for several large manufacturing companies including Cessna Aircraft, Copeland-Emerson, Lexington Furniture, Maytag/Whirlpool and Lay-Z-Boy.

Dale enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting, golf and boating. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, NRA and Pheasants Forever. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cleveland.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Wilma Pywell Hiser, Cleveland; son, Shawn Hiser, Cleveland; daughter, Dayla Hiser Rainwater (Clark), Cullman, Alabama; grandchildren, Kelsey Rainwater and Tucker Rainwater; a sister, Gail Botinelly (Joe), Wichita; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service was held Monday, November 28, 2022at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Matt Nail (Friend) and Pastor Curt McKee officiating. Graveside Services and interment will be conducted on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Palco, Kansas.

The family will receive friends at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home in Plainville, Kansas from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
