Dorothy Pearl (Glodfelty) Dibble, age 96, passed away on November 18, 2022 at the Osborne County Hospital. 

She was born January 28, 1926 just south of Woodston, Kansas to Irving and Blanche Glodfelty. She attended high school in Woodston, Kansas, graduating in 1943. She married Everette Dibble on December 15, 1943.

She was a mother, homemaker, school cook, sewer, quilter and one heck of a grandma. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Alton, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, past member of Pleasant Valley Homemakers, several quilters guilds, and the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Board.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everette; her parents; a brother; four sisters; a son-in-law; a grandson; a grandson-in-law; and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors include daughters Karen Nowlin of Salina and Marsha (Keith) Doane of Downs; a son Jim (Sherry) Dibble of Hays; eight grandchildren, Scott (Stacy) Nowlin of Amoret, Missouri, Vonda (Tym) Bonilla of Salina, Michael (Julie) Doane, Parkville, Missouri, Rodney (Lindsey) Doane of Alton, Brett (Chandra) Doane of Downs, Craig (Shawna) Doane of Downs, Kim Reel of Hays, and Andrew (Kate) Dibble of Overland Park; 29 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at the Alton United Methodist Church, 408 Mill Street, Alton. Visitation will be on Monday, November, 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Rentschler Family Mortuaries Osborne Chapel in Osborne. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Osborne.

Memorials are to be given in her name and will be designated later.
