Advance voting to begin October 19th
The Rooks County Clerk’s Office has announced that beginning Wednesday, October 19th, you are now allowed to vote in advance of the November 8th General Election, by visiting the Rooks County Clerk’s Office, 2nd Floor of the Rooks County Courthouse.
The deadline for advance in-person voting is Monday, November 7th.
If you plan to participate in advanced voting, don’t forget your photo ID!
Advance Mail-In Voting
Voters are allowed to vote by mail prior to election day in the state of Kansas. In order to do so, you must complete an application for an advance ballot and include your driver’s license number or a copy of your photo identification. The deadline to submit advance voting applications to your county election official is Tuesday, November 1 for the 2022 general election. Ballots will be mailed to those who apply beginning October 19 for the 2022 general election.
All ballots MUST be postmarked on or before election day and received in the county election office by the close of business on the Friday following the election.
Public Testing of Voting Machines
There will be a Public Testing of the Election Voting Machines for the 2022 General City on Thursday, November 3rd, beginning at 3:30 p.m., at the Rooks County Clerk’s Office.
