Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Beckley

Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Beckley, age 59, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Midland Hospice Care. 

Liz was born January 16, 1963 in Stockton, Kansas. She graduated from Stockton High School with the Class of 1982. She went on and attended WTI in Topeka. She married Ron Beckley.  He preceded her in death September 26, 2019.  Liz worked as a cashier for several businesses including the Salvation Army. She also worked as the deli manager at the Kwik Shop. She enjoyed cooking. She attended Fellowship Hi-Crest Church. 

She is survived by a daughter, Emily (Roderick) Hance of Manassas, Va.; a step-daughter, Katie Parson of Plainville; a brother, Carl Hance, Stockton; three sisters, Cathy (Cory) Carlson of Stockton, Fay Hance of Midland, Texas and Janet (Rueben) Jimenez of Midland, Texas; nieces, Opal, Natalia and Cheyenne; nephews, Orin, Jeremiah and Daylan; and a great-niece, Eleanor.  She is also survived by her grand dog, Nikki and her cat, Bootz.  Liz became very close to Tori and Luke Berning and her daughters, Eleanor and Lucy, whom Liz considered her own granddaughters.  Liz enjoyed spending time with the girls and they enjoyed drawing her pictures.

Memorial services are pending to be held at Fellowship Hi-Crest Church.
