Ruth Ann (Albright) O'Malley

With great sorrow, the family of Ruth Ann (Albright) O'Malley announces that she went home to be with Jesus on May 19, 2022. She passed away in her Florida home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Stockton, Kansas on July 28, 1940 and was preceded in death by her parents James and Caroline Albright; stepfather Everette Valette; husband Darrell Smolen; brother Dr. Donald Albright; and sisters Lela Doughty and Ellen Cunningham.

She leaves behind one son Jerol; two daughters Lisa and Cara; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives who will miss her greatly. No services are scheduled to be held at this time. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church, Stockton, Kansas.
