(The following is taken from the unapproved March 14th Woodston City Council regular minutes.)

The Council of the City of Woodston met in the Council Chamber at the City Hall on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

Council Members present were Bill Dibble, Judy Turnbull, Kate Terry, Thomas Yakish, and Charles O’Neil.

Mayor April Yakish called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Employees present were Shari Reichard, Andrew Saaranen and Rick Maynard.

Code Enforcement Officer Brad Lynch was present. The Council stated that there is an issue with some resident’s trash blowing into other residents’ yards.

There was no New Business.

Under Old Business, Bill Dibble stated that right now the bid for the generator is at $5,300.00 and the Hustler mower is at $4,400.00 on Purple Wave Auction. The auction for these items closes on Tuesday, March 15th at 10:00 a.m. The purchaser has 14 days to pick up their items.

Andrew Saaranen gave his Water/Sewer Report. Saaranen stated that everything at the water plant is going fine. He stated he would be gone the last week in March. Rick Maynard stated that he could do the chlorine testing that week. Mayor April Yakish stated that the City had Coop deliver two pallets of salt this month because it was on sale.

Rick Maynard then gave his Maintenance Report.

Clerk Shari Reichard then gave her report. Judy Turnbull motioned to approve the invoices as presented by Reichard. Charles O’Neil seconded the motion. All approved. Kate Terry motioned to approve the February 14th minutes. Charles O’Neal seconded the motion. All approved.

During his Fire Department Report, Bill Dibble stated that they had a few fire runs this month.

Judy Turnbull motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Kate Terry seconded the motion. All approved.
