Margaret Nix

Margaret Nix, Smith Center, passed away Jan. 21, 2022, at the Smith County Hospital in Smith Center at the age of 66.

She was born August 4, 1955, the daughter of E.B. & Annie (Simmons) Smith.

Survivors include her son Nicholas of Smith Center; her daughter, LaDonna Stice of Stockton; her brother E.B. Smith, Jr; her sisters, Pam Rogers, Patsy Turner and Nelda Massey; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 25, at 2:00 p.m., in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Jay Brandon officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the West Cedar Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret Nix Memorial Fund.  

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
