County tax revenues up $671,599.16 from 2020
Increases in Oil, Real Estate, and Special
It’s no surprise that the biggest increase in the County’s tax revenue for the 2021 year is in Oil with an increase of $599,143.13 for a total of $1,853,122.55. The 2020 total was $1,253,989.42. Real Estate also increased from the 2019 figure of $8,546,491.71 to $8,631,831.47 for a total increase of $85,339.76. Specials make up the last in crease from the 2020 figure of $31,034.88 to $35,191.05, an increase of $275,153.83. (The Specials tax is imposed on city cleanup of property (lots, for instance, to enable irrigation by the irrigation district; or for such projects and sewer, curb and gutter improvements.)
Showing decreases this year are Severed Minerals with a drop of $1,749.30, Personal Property with a drop of $6,700.74, and Utilities, which were down $9,000.10.
All of the Townships showed an increase with the exception of Township #7.
The County’s municipalities show Damar with a decrease of $724.25, Palco with a decrease of $19,379.36; Plainville with an increase of $21,666.01; Stockton with an increase of $86,152.60; Woodston with an increase of $10,400.97; and Zurich with a decrease of $3,516.22.
