Memorial Dedication and Quilt of Valor Presentation this Thursday

The Dedication of the Veterans Memorial, located in the northeast corner of the Stockton City Cemetery, is this Thursday, November 11th at 2:00 p.m. This memorial, which was spearheaded by the VFW Auxiliary, now marks the veterans cemetery with four metal kneeling soldiers with the service branches attached to the impressive entrance. This will be a lasting tribute to all those who have served our country. Please make plans to attend.

Then in the evening, the Quilt of Valor Presentation will be held at the Nova Theatre at 6:00 p.m. A special movie presentation of “1941 WWII War Diaries” will follow the ceremony. Come and honor our veterans at either or both of these events.
