When the House of Atreides is handed control of the dangerous desert planet of Arrakis, the stewardship comes with a heavy load of ensuring that the ongoing harvest of “the spice” continues successfully. There are, of course, multiple factors that hinder this responsibility, which Duke Leto Atreides has to address, many of which will involve his son Paul, who joins in the quest to save the spice and the future of his own people.
