Deborah Suzanne Williams

It is our family’s most sorrowful responsibility to inform the community of the passing of a truly wonderful angel among us, Mrs. Deborah Suzanne Williams, age 69, of Stockton. She went home to spend eternity with our Lord on the morning of Monday, January 25, 2021, after a brief battle with COVID-19.

Deborah Suzanne Hopkins was born April 19th, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kansas.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mr. Mike Williams; two brothers, Leonard Hopkins and Harold Hopkins; her four children, Stephen Gates, Jacque Williams, Dana Zumwalt, and Eric Williams; six grandchildren: Josh Mills, Shawn Mills, Allen Gates, Brooklyn Zumwalt, Tyler Williams, and Jamie Gates.

At the time of her passing, her greatest joy was spending time and sharing experiences with her two great-grandchildren, Ava Zumwalt and Cooper Gates. She had one expected great-grandchild who will never get the opportunity to know this great-grandmother, and many in-laws and extended family, too numerous to list.

Debbie was a loving mother and wife, a talented artist, and had a successful career in the health insurance industry. This fantastic lady was loved and admired by everyone wherever she went. She will be sorely missed by family and friends all over the country.
