The 2026 Rooks County Free Fair is in full swing, and there is still plenty of excitement ahead for families and fairgoers to enjoy throughout the remainder of the week.

Following the opening of the fair and the acceptance of Open Class exhibits on Monday, activities continue Tuesday evening as the King of Kansas Flat Track Motorcycle Races roar into the grandstand. Gates open at 6 p.m., with racing beginning at 7 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy the popular Critter Closeup presentations at 4, 6 and 8 p.m. in the SNB Pavilion, sponsored by Polymer Technologies and Central Veterinary Services.

Wednesday offers a full day of family fun beginning with Knights of Columbus Bingo from 2 to 4 p.m. in the SNB Pavilion. A free watermelon feed will be served at 4 p.m., followed by the alwayspopular Youth Pet Parade at 5:30 p.m. in the Sutor-Blauer Arena. The Pride of Texas Carnival will be open from 6 to 10 p.m., motorcycle racing returns to the grandstand at 7 p.m., and Critter Close-up presentations will once again be held throughout the afternoon and evening.

Thursday's schedule includes the annual Pedal Pull at 1 p.m., followed by another night of racing as the IMCA Stock Cars take to the track at 7 p.m. Grandstand gates open at 6 p.m., the carnival operates from 6 to 10 p.m., and country artist Jadynce Jean will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. in the SNB Pavilion. Her performance is sponsored by World Pest.

Friday features another evening of IMCA Stock Car Racing, with gates opening at 6 p.m. and racing beginning at 7 p.m. The annual Livestock Sale also begins at 6 p.m., while the Pride of Texas Carnival continues and a DJ will provide music in the SNB Pavilion from 7 to 10 p.m.

Saturday wraps up the week's entertainment with RC Car Races beginning at 2 p.m. The popular Barnyard BrewFest returns to the infield from 5:30 to 8 p.m., followed by a free concert by Phil Vandel from 7 to 11 p.m.

Carnival rides will again be open from 6 to 10 p.m., giving families one final evening to enjoy the midway.

Open Class exhibits will be released Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon, bringing another successful Rooks County Free Fair to a close.

Grandstand admission for both the motorcycle races and IMCA Stock Car Races is $15, with children ages 6 and under admitted free. Barnyard BrewFest tickets are $20, and admission to the Phil Vandel concert is free. Carnival wristbands are available at the fair for $30, while grandstand season passes remain available for $50, excluding BrewFest admission and pit gate access.
