Celebrating Excellence Close to Home
The Sentinel-Times is proud to partner with Rooks County Health Center in recognizing and celebrating an achievement that places our community among the nation's best. In this special section which appears in our newspaper this week, we once again shine a spotlight on Rooks County Health Center's remarkable distinction of being named one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States. While the honor belongs to RCH, it is also a source of pride for all of Rooks County and the surrounding region.
In rural America, access to quality healthcare is often one of the most important factors in determining a community's long-term success and vitality. Having a nationally recognized healthcare facility located right here in Plainville is something that benefits not only local residents but also patients from across northwest Kansas and neighboring communities who rely on RCH for exceptional care close to home.
This recognition did not happen overnight. It is the result of years of dedication, innovation, sound leadership, and an unwavering commitment to providing highquality healthcare services. Being named among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation places RCH in elite company and serves as confirmation that the hospital continues to excel in patient care, outcomes, financial stewardship, and overall performance.
Producing a special section of this magnitude was also a team effort. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Josh Thaden, Chief Executive Officer of Rooks County Health Center, for his cooperation throughout the project. Josh worked diligently to provide information, photographs, and content in a timely manner, helping ensure the section accurately reflected the people, services, and accomplishments that make RCH such an important asset to our region.
We would also like to recognize the many businesses, organizations, families, and individuals who joined us in congratulating RCH through advertisements and messages of support. Their participation demonstrates the tremendous respect and appreciation that exists throughout the communities served by the hospital.
Finally, we extend our thanks to CherryRoad Publishing in Hutchinson for producing the finished section. Their attention to detail and quality presswork helped bring this project to life and resulted in a publication that appropriately reflects the significance of RCH's achievement.
At the Sentinel-Times, we believe it is important to celebrate success stories that make our communities stronger. Few accomplishments
